Euro-America Shipping & Trade, Inc. (“EAST”) was founded in 1979 and has grown to be a premier international ship brokerage and maritime logistics consulting firm with 40 years of experience in global commercial, government, and defense markets. EAST enjoys an industry-leading reputation of serving its clients with the highest levels of professionalism, responsiveness, industry knowledge, and integrity. EAST’s offices are located just outside Washington, D.C., providing the firm's employees quick access to U.S. Government maritime transportation agencies and officials, Congressional policy makers, foreign embassies, and other official transportation and logistics stakeholders.
EAST maintains established, direct relationships with a vast number of ship owners, ship operators, and cargo charterers, both in the United States and around the world. Commercially, EAST works directly with industry leading owners and charterers, and regularly fixes vessels ranging from 1,000 to 80,000 ton deadweight. EAST handles tonnages for international owners and works directly with numerous grain and trading chartering companies.
